Music Industry professionals from all over the world will merge into Knoxville, TN to network, attend workshops and panel discussions, and listen to keynote speakers on August 19 to 22, 2010. Over 120 showcase slots will feature artists from around the world in venues in the Old City and Market Square areas of Knoxville, TN. Main stage showcases along with workshops, panels, keynote speakers, and vendor exhibits will take place in the Expo Center at Holiday Inn World's Fair Park. The general public can go from venue to venue to see showcasing artists. Live broadcasts from WDVX Radio in Knoxville will feature some showcase artists and live internet video streaming from KnoxIvi 11 O'clock rock will feature various performers. Indiegrrl is now taking submissions for over 120 showcase slots that will be 40 minutes each. Deadline to submit is March 31, 2010. Visit http://indiegrrl.com/conference.html for more details. We have full color high gloss print ads available in our Conference Program starting at $150 for a quarter page. 3,000 programs will be printed and distributed to conference attendees and for the general public to pick up in our hosting showcase venues. Vendor tables in the Expo Center are available. These are on a first come first get basis. Vendor spaces are $200. Vendor locations is in the most heavily traffic area of this event. EVERYONE has to pass by the vendors to get to workshops, panels, keynote speakers, AND the main stage showcase headliners.The Thursday night Kick Off Party from 6:00pm to 7:30pm will also take place in this area before the main stage starts. Conference attendees and the General Public with arm band purchases to see the main stage can enjoy free finger foods and a cash bar at this kickoff party. Conference pass is ONLY $100 and gets you in to all the workshops, panels, keynote speaker addresses, the Kick Off Party, and all showcase stage areas. General Public Armbands are $10 each night to attend the main stage showcase headliners. A $20 armband purchase is available that will get you in to all 3 nights of main stage performances Thursday through Saturday and the Kick Off Party. Holiday Inn World's Fair Park is extending a room discount rate of $89 per night. Up to 4 people can stay in a room for this rate so start networking to find your roommates to cut your housing costs to a minimum. Selected showcase artists get a discounted conference pass rate of only $40. This rate applies to all band members, management staff and spouses/partners that want to attend. We are accepting Volunteer submissions in exchange for a free conference pass. Volunteers will help us at all participating hosting venues and in our main stage areas and also helping direct vendors to their locations at check in. Work a few hours each day and get a free pass to attend all workshops and showcases.
