Free frames in Columbia SC yours for FREE

THE ARTIST’S ROUND TABLE TO DISTRIBUTE FREE FRAMES
October 19th & 20th, 2007

Columbia, S.C-The Artist’s Round Table (A.R.T.) will distribute picture frames through its Fill The Frames community outreach program on Friday, October 19th and Saturday, October 20th. The frames will be free to midlands educators and non-profit organizations, with proper identification. The general public can make a $1.00 minimum donation for two frames.
Every interested teacher and non-profit organization, with educator identification or non-profit tax ID number, can obtain frames for use in a school or organization. The general public can make a cash or check donation, with a $1.00 minimum, to receive frames. These frames range in size from 3"x5" to 10"x12" and are made of either wood, plastic or metal.
They were donated to the organization by Eagle Distribution and stored courtesy of local businessman Chris Barzack. "We are privileged to share these resources with the community," said Sandra Stewart, a member of A.R.T.’s Fill the Frames program. "This is a good opportunity for educators and other non-profits to supplement their materials for projects. And, it is a great example of how local business and art can support each other."

Frames will be available:
Friday, October 19th 12pm-5pm
Saturday, October 20th 9am-2pm
2965 N. Main Street
Columbia, SC

Recipients should bring bags and boxes to carry the frames.
