One of Columbia's newest galleries is hosting their first Holiday Market Sale and having a Grand Opening to introduce "Phaup's Gallery of Fine Arts" to Columbia SC holiday shoppers, art buyers and party goers. It will be held from 5-8PM on Thursday Dec. 11th. It will be like an "After Hours" event; similar to those sponsored by the Chamber however this is sponsored by Sandra and Bud Phaup and hosted by the actual artists. We will have a lively spirited group featuring many new art works and little gifts as well as large. We are all a friendly bunch so come on by and have a good time. We look forward to seeing you that Thursday night Dec. 11, 2008 anytime.
If you cannot make it to the reception you can come to NE Columbia; drop in anytime the gallery will be open from 10-6 Mon thru Sat. We are within 2 blocks of the Columbia Mall; not far from I20; I26 and I77. It's easy to get to and well worth the trip. Many of the artists will be selling small works, photography, paintings, pottery as well as prints and greeting cards. We have modern, contemporary, and traditional paintings. The artists will be there and it would be a great time to meet them. Have you been wanting something special for that house with the empty walls? Do you have someone that is impossible to buy a gift for? Let us help you out.This season for our Holiday Market and Grand Opening reception we will have ornaments hand created by our artists as a fundraiser to benefit the gallery and to make it's official debut into the art world.
