Crew needed for Film in Rome Georgia Jan 2008
We are doing an independent feature project to be shot in the Rome, Georgia area in January 2008. The faith-based film is being shot on HD with production services provided by Outpost Pictures LLC of Kansas City and a multi-state producer group. A wide variety of people will be hired from Rome and the surrounding area.

Call for Artists for "Up on the Roof Top" in Forest Acres Sweet Seasons Rooftop festival and tree lighting at 3400 Forest Dr. (aka Richland Mall) in Forest Acres, Columbia, SC on Thursday, evening November 29, 2007. The event will run from 6-8 PM. Artists may arrive earlier to set up. Andy says if it rains, the event will be held inside.

Last Call for artists to participate in the Forest Acres Sweet Seasons. Each artist will have their own space and there is no charge to show your art. They plan to have music and food as well. 􀂃 Work entered to the competition must be original and unframed 2-D artwork: oil, pastel, water color, acrylic, photography and fiber-art.

􀂃 Artists can submit 2 entries. Only one prize per artist will be awarded.

"Fill the Frames" A.R.T. Free on Sat. Nov. 17th
The Artist’s Round Table (A.R.T.) will again distribute picture frames through its Fill The Frames community outreach program on Saturday, November 17th. The frames will be free to midlands educators and non-profit organizations, with proper identification. The general public can make a donation to Harvest Hope and get frames too.

Back Porch Painters Art Sale Nov. 15-17
The Back Porch Painters have all painted on the back porch at Sandra Phaup's home and they have all studied oil painting with ETV's star of "Painting with Ilona". Artists in the Back Porch Painters Show are: Christy Aitken, JoDean Bauknight, Judy Boepple, Jean Bourque, Jean Ehler, Denby Gorman, Allan Hobbs, Sandra Phaup, John Sawyer, Sheila Watts, and Joan Wyndham.

Glenforest School presents the Palmetto Master Singers. For a sample of their music, click on the name of the group. They have performed all over the world and this performance will include music from Bach to Broadway to the Beatles.

The Art Show and Sale will be starting at 6PM Friday November 16th. We will have a wide selection of art to choose from including award winning local artists. Participating artists include: Barbie Mathis, (the painting shown here is "Aiken Splendor" by Barbie Mathis), Jean Bourque, Pat Stone, Janet Kozachek, and Christy Aitken. We will also have a charcoal sketch artist Jean Ehler so you can get your portrait sketched before the Palmetto MasterSingers perform, during intermission or later during the dessert party. Other artists wil be announced soon.

All proceeds benefit the schools Arts Program. The school is located at 1041 Harbor Dr West Columbia, SC. After the performance, Glenforest will host a “Meet the Masters” dessert reception and the art sale will continue to run during this time.
